Accessibility Advisory Board
The Accessibility Advisory Board supports government’s accessibility initiatives by making recommendations and responding to requests for accessibility advice from the Minister of Justice. The board is made up of 12 Nova Scotians with diverse backgrounds, expertise and experiences. A majority of the board members have disabilities.
Standard Development Committees
For each of government’s 6 accessibility standards, a Standard Development Committee makes recommendations for what the standards should include. The committees include Nova Scotians with disabilities and people who work in sectors affected by the standards.
